Tabiano
Sulphur waters for thermal cure. A lot to see and a handful of beautiful hills. In Tabiano you will find nature promenades along the shadows of sycamore trees or in Porcellini park, the oasis in the town center. You can visit the medieval hamlet of Tabiano Castello, an ancient possession of the Pallavicino marquise, founded more than a thousand years ago on a rocky spur: the view from up there is breath taking.
In Tabiano Bagni many shops, restaurants, pizza restaurants, bars and patisseries are awaiting you. And in the summer, a light breeze makes your night sleep quiet and peaceful.
Salsomaggiore
Only 5 km away from Tabiano, there is Salsomaggiore Terme, the thermal city chosen every year by millions of visitors to enjoy wellness and relax. The historical location is the building of terme Berzieri, in the town centre of Salsomaggiore. Around it lay the shopping streets and promenades along the tree-lined boulevards and the parks. You can also practice many sports in Salsomaggiore: the city offers tennis and golf fields, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Everything is there to make your holiday great!
Labirinto della Masone
It took more than ten years to build the world's greatest bamboo Labyrinth: more than three kilometres long paths. The Labyrinth was realized thanks to the strong desire of publisher Franco Maria Ricci, whose aim was to offer everybody the possibility to enjoy the beauty of a unique cultural park. The Labyrinth is located in Fontanellato, one of the most beautiful hamlets in Italy, twenty minutes far from our hotel.
Fidenza Village
Many fashion shops with the best brands at a discount up to 70% and unique occasions to purchase the most elegant and trendy clothes: Fidenza Village is one of the most popular outlets in Italy. 15 minutes away from Tabiano, it is located at the A1 highway toll booth of Fidenza-Salsomaggiore.
Castelli del Ducato
From the Apennine peaks to the wet lands of the Po. In this ever-changing landscape, many castles and enchanted fortresses. Terre Verdiane
Giuseppe Verdi was born and raised a few kilometres away from Tabiano. His birthplace is located in Roncole, where you can visit his home and find out about the Maestro's childhood. A little further lays Busseto, where the National museum Giuseppe Verdi is located, a tribute to his most famous compositions. In the town centre Teatro Verdi, Palazzo Orlandi, the composer's residence in the 1850s and, a little further, Villa Sant'Agata, his country house located on the border between Parma and Piacenza provinces.
Parma
Beautiful, cultivated and at human scale: Parma owns all the qualities of a truly European city. Its old town is small but full of attractions. Where to begin? From the Duomo and the Battistero, located in one of the most beautiful squares in Italy. Few meters away you can visit the Teatro Regio, the Chamber of St Paul painted by Correggio and the artwork of well-known artists exposed in the National Gallery. For a promenade in the nature, the Parco Ducale, the city's green space, populated by locals and tourists.
Souvenirs in Parma are all good to eat: Parmesan, Prosciutto Crudo (raw ham), Culatello and Salame are all for sale in the historical boutiques of city center.
